I think that Zed has been completely taken over by the robotics and has been mind controlled by the 'hierarchy' I spoke of earlier, this is why he fights Lucian, Fiora and Yi, who I believe are leading a rebellion in the robot vs human war. Apart from Zed, whose head is shaped very awkwardly and shows no human facial features. As for Yi, I think that he is still human emotionally, but robotic physically.
